Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. This is initially a consulting assignment for 12 months via Unik Resurs with excellent prospects for extension. Work Tasks and Areas of Responsibility We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer who wants to work with supplier quality in an international technical environment. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, Commodity Managers, and cross-functional teams, both locally and globally. Depending on your experience, you will work within one or more areas: castings, forging, machining, welding, or coating. Work Tasks Lead supplier development projects. Qualify suppliers and assess their capacity. Lead product and process qualification (PPQ). Manage quality deviations through containment, root cause analysis, and preventive measures. Implement risk-reducing initiatives and follow up on results. Monitor suppliers' quality performance and drive improvement programs. Plan and conduct supplier audits. Support suppliers in quality processes and relevant quality tools. Collaborate with global teams and internal customers. Your Profile We are looking for someone who has: Engineering degree at bachelor's or master's level, or equivalent technical competence. Experience from a technical operation, preferably in R&D, production engineering, manufacturing, or quality. Knowledge of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA. Ability to handle deviations and drive corrective and preventive measures. Experience in process management, reporting, and follow-up. Strong ability to lead projects or cross-functional work groups. Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Experience in machining, castings, coating, forging, or welding is meriting. Knowledge of Swedish is also highly meriting.
