Our client is now seeking a structured and driven Supplier Quality Engineer who wants to help ensure high quality in the supplier chain within an operation connected to surface vessels.
About the role:
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work with quality assurance within the procurement organization. You'll have a broad role with many touchpoints and collaborate closely with both suppliers and internal functions, particularly strategic procurement.
A significant portion of the work consists of administration, documentation, and monitoring in various systems. You will also conduct supplier audits, manage supplier deviations, and ensure that suppliers meet the organization's quality requirements, such as ISO certifications.
Since there is currently no one in a corresponding role in the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute with structure, develop work methods, and create clear processes for supplier quality work.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with quality assurance in procurement and supplier chain
- Manage administration, documentation, and monitoring in internal systems
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on supplier audits
- Handle supplier deviations and drive corrective actions
- Ensure that suppliers meet relevant quality requirements and certifications
- Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and conduct supplier visits
- Support strategic procurement on quality-related matters
- Contribute to developing and structuring the team's processes and work methods
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in procurement, quality, or supplier quality
- Has understanding of quality work, supplier monitoring, or deviation management
- Has strong administrative skills and enjoys working in different systems
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This position requires that you undergo and are approved under applicable security regulations at any given time. For positions where our client has requirements for security clearance, certain citizenship requirements may apply.
This is a consulting assignment where you are employed by Friday. We work with long-term assignments at our clients, which creates security and continuity for you in your role.
