Suki Sushi is a restaurant in Karlshamn with a wide selection of sushi, Japanese hot dishes, Vietnamese cuisine, and other Asian dishes. We are now looking for two experienced sushi chefs who want to be part of our kitchen team. We are looking for someone with good experience in preparing sushi and who can work quickly, carefully, and independently. You should also have strong knowledge of Japanese cooking. Experience preparing other Asian dishes is a plus. Responsibilities The work includes, among other things: - Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and nigiri - Prepare fish, rice, vegetables, and other ingredients - Prepare Japanese and other Asian dishes - Ensure that food maintains high quality and is presented in an appealing way - Follow the restaurant's food hygiene procedures - Keep the kitchen and workplace clean and organized - Collaborate with other team members during both calm and busy shifts Qualifications We are looking for someone who: - Has previous experience working as a sushi chef - Has strong knowledge of Japanese cooking - Has good knowledge of sushi and the handling of fresh fish - Has knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safe food handling - Is careful, responsible, and stress-resistant - Can work both independently and with others Experience preparing other Asian dishes is a plus.
