Your new workplace CFL (Center for Multilingual Learning) is part of the Department of Education and Child Services in Sundsvall Municipality. Our operations ensure that students receive instruction in their native language and study coordination in their strongest school language. How you contribute in this role We are currently seeking a study coordinator in Ukrainian. This is a fixed-term position running through 261231. Depending on operational needs, the position may potentially be extended as a fixed-term or permanent appointment. Working hours may vary over time since our operations are based on fluctuating student enrollment. As a study coordinator, you work at the schools and support students who do not yet have sufficient Swedish language skills and whose strongest language is Ukrainian, across various school subjects. As a study coordinator, you work closely with subject teachers at different schools and will be part of a team with CFL colleagues who meet regularly at pedagogical conferences and study days. Your competence and experience You have Ukrainian as your native language and possess strong proficiency in it. You must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Swedish (equivalent to a passing secondary school grade in Swedish 2 or Swedish as a Second Language 2). We are looking for someone who can provide study coordination in multiple subjects (most applications we receive are for mathematics, social studies, and natural sciences) up to grade 9. You hold a Swedish or a foreign validated teaching credential, or alternatively possess other education and experience that the employer deems relevant, and you have experience working with children and students. You have strong IT skills and feel comfortable using various digital systems. As a person, you are a relationship builder with an ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and teachers at the schools. You collaborate easily, are curious, and want to develop and grow. We are looking for someone who is flexible and has strong collaboration skills, listens well, and can communicate and handle various situations constructively. You should have high service standards and social competence. We would like to see that you have a driver's license. Study coordination takes place on-site, at the schools.
