Language Center is Strängnäs Municipality's unit for mother tongue instruction and study guidance. Language Center works with newly arrived students with a language background other than Swedish, as well as Swedish-speaking children who have attended school abroad and are entering Strängnäs Municipality's education system. We view mother tongue instruction and study guidance as a very important part of students' language development and achievement of educational goals.
We are now seeking a Study Guide Instructor in Kurdish Sorani.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Study Guide Instructor, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and developing instruction together with the responsible teacher based on each student's circumstances. You work on-site at various schools in the municipality and may therefore need to travel between schools during the workday.
You work daytime approximately three hours per week, though the scope may vary during the term.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• strong knowledge, both spoken and written, of the mother tongue Kurdish Sorani
• strong knowledge, both spoken and written, of Swedish
It is advantageous if you have/are:
• qualified mother tongue teacher or certified teacher
• previous experience in mother tongue instruction or study guidance
• B driver's license as the position may involve travel between schools within the municipality.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, we are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks, is skilled at building good relationships, and works well collaborating with others. You work well with students individually and in groups, and you are flexible and attentive to others' needs.
Before employment, the employer will request an excerpt from the police suspicion and criminal record register.
