JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a study mentor, you need competence in assessing newly arrived students' knowledge levels. Study mentoring can be conducted together with other teaching staff or independently with a smaller group of students. As a study mentor, you maintain continuous dialogue with the class's teaching staff to follow up on students' progress and results. Study mentoring may be conducted at all school units in the municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of both spoken and written Swedish and Greek. You are well versed in and understand the importance of working according to the school's governance documents, and have a strong ability to organize and lead work with clarity and commitment for students' optimal development. Education with a pedagogical focus is meriting, and it is desirable that you have experience of pedagogical work in Swedish schools. You are confident in your teaching role and have the ability to create a good working climate and study environment in student groups. You have a strong ability to include students in need of support and are challenged by finding additional adaptations so that each student can progress as far as possible in their learning development. You have good collaboration skills and are clear in your communication. You can take own initiatives and work independently. You are structured and creative in your approach and have the will and strong interest in helping students reach their goals. You have good computer skills and knowledge and experience working in various digital systems. A driver's license (category B) is required for this position. Salary form: Hourly wage. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
