We are now seeking a study coach for our work within the new activity requirement for people receiving financial support. Here you will work alongside engaged colleagues in an operation that believes in the individual's resources, possibilities, and development. What Does the Work Entail? As a study coach, you work to motivate and support participants in taking steps toward studies, work, and self-sufficiency. You build on each individual's strengths, experiences, interests, and conditions and work with study motivation using inspiration from Supported Education. In the role, you build trusting relationships and help participants explore educational and career paths that can lead toward the labor market. You work both individually and in groups and collaborate with both internal and external actors. Your main work tasks are to: - Map the participant's strengths, experiences, interests, and individual conditions. - Coach and motivate participants toward studies and help them find concrete paths forward. - Conduct individual conversations and study-motivating group activities. - Plan and participate in study visits and meetings with educational providers and employers. - Support participants with applications, study starts, and if needed, during their studies. - Collaborate with adult education, the Swedish Public Employment Service, social services, and other relevant actors. - Work closely with Jobbfabriken's job coaches and work supervisors to create a cohesive plan for the participant. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to people and is driven by creating motivation, participation, and hope for the future. You are attentive and relationship-building and inspire confidence while being structured, clear, and action-oriented. You see possibilities where others see obstacles and have the ability to inspire people to take the next step toward their goals. In your approach, you are motivating and coaching, and you appreciate collaborating with others. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: - Relevant higher education in, for example, behavioral science, pedagogy, social work, study and career guidance, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. - Experience with study-motivating work with people who are far from the labor market. - Experience leading or working with groups. - Good knowledge of the Swedish education system's opportunities and requirements. Meritorious are experience in study and career guidance, labor market initiatives, or other coaching activities. We also view positively that you are relationship-building, communicative, and have the ability to motivate individuals toward studies, work, and self-sufficiency.
