The Position
Do you want to be part of creating something new? Clustera is already successfully working with Career Guidance in several places in the country. Now we are establishing operations in Uppsala and are looking for you to be with us from the start. Here you get the chance to combine operational work with the opportunity to influence and develop a business in its establishment phase.
You will work with guidance within our Career Guidance program, which is a commission from the Swedish Public Employment Service. The purpose is to provide our participants, who are job seekers, support and assistance in making well-considered choices to find sustainable paths to education and work.
As a career and education advisor, you will be part of a team working with career guidance. Your task is to support and guide participants, based on their circumstances, toward realistic study and career choices. During career guidance, they become aware of their skills and abilities and what they need to develop competence-wise to achieve their goals. You will work with participants both individually and in groups, where you will lead various group activities.
The position includes informing participants about different educational pathways and occupational fields and supporting them on the way to suitable and sustainable education and jobs. Together with the participant, you build a realistic career plan that describes the steps needed to reach the final goal, employment.
The work tasks include:
Take responsibility for the cohesive guidance process.
Conduct mapping interviews, individual guidance interviews, group guidance, workshops, lectures, and learning initiatives.
Identify the participant's needs, experiences, competencies, and interests.
Together with participants, create clear and realistic career plans.
Plan, document, and coordinate.
Collaborate with other career and education advisors and supervisors.
Create and maintain good contact with companies and education providers.
We are looking for someone who is driven, self-directed, goal-oriented, structured, and quality-conscious. It is important that you are curious, empathetic, creative, relationship-oriented, and can adapt to different people and situations. Additionally, you are accustomed to gathering information, have good knowledge of current educational fields, and have experience using digital tools.
There is a clear set of regulations to follow, as the position is a commission from the Swedish Public Employment Service. Therefore, it is important that we work according to the same structure and procedures, and that we do it together as a united team.
The position is full-time and on-site at our office in Uppsala.
You must meet the following requirements You are an examined career and education advisor and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Study certificate must be presented.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Additional languages beyond Swedish and English are merits.
