Career and Educational Counselor for Primary School in Tibro Municipality Do you want to make a difference in young people's futures? Tibro Municipality is seeking an engaged career and educational counselor focused on primary school. We're looking for someone with a degree in career and educational counseling and a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You're confident in your professional role and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We believe you are: Communicative and attentive Organized and self-directed Good at building relationships and collaborating Confident in conducting counseling sessions Committed to students' future opportunities It's advantageous if you have experience working in primary school, as well as knowledge of upper secondary school admissions and the education system. Your daily work As a career and educational counselor, you'll work both strategically and in close contact with students' daily lives. You'll support students with their upper secondary school choices and help strengthen their knowledge about education, working life, and future opportunities. Your responsibilities include: guiding students on upper secondary school choices, involving guardians when needed following up on upper secondary school admissions, including students in other municipal systems implementing counseling initiatives based on the primary school curriculum oversee work experience programs (PRAO) in grades 7–9 administrate Praktikplatsen representing the municipality in Skaraborg's "SYV-grundskola" network coordinating the municipality's SSA work With us, you'll have varied and meaningful work where you contribute to giving students a strong foundation for their futures.
