Your New Job
We are looking for a career and educational counselor who wants to give our young people the opportunity to develop their decision-making competence based on knowledge, abilities, and skills. Your responsibilities include informing students and guardians about choices, as well as guiding and advising students through various decision-making processes. You will work closely with your fellow career counselors, the school's student health team with the principal as your supervisor, and together with teachers. The position includes both vocational preparation and higher education preparation programs.
You work with students who need guidance as well as study skills support, follow up on individual study plans, and participate in student meetings. As a career and educational counselor, you conduct both class presentations, group activities, and individual counseling sessions. You work both informatively and in a coaching capacity, primarily with students, but also with teachers and other school staff.

Sanda Gymnasium in Huskvarna consists of two school forms - adapted upper secondary school and gymnasium. Sanda Sports Center is part of the operations where sports education is conducted during school hours as part of upper secondary education. Approximately 1400 students attend and we have approximately 200 employees.

You have a degree from a career and educational counselor program at university or college level, and we consider it a merit if you have worked at a gymnasium before.
