The Position
Do you want to be part of creating something new? Clustera is already successfully working with Career Guidance in several places across the country. Now we are establishing operations in Norrköping and we are looking for you who want to be part of it from the start. Here you get the chance to combine operational work with the opportunity to influence and develop an operation in its establishment phase.
You will work with guidance within our Career Guidance program, which is an assignment from the Swedish Public Employment Service. The purpose is to provide our participants, who are job seekers, support and assistance in making well-considered choices to find sustainable paths to education and employment.
As a career and educational counselor, you will be part of a team working with career guidance. Your assignment is to support and guide participants, based on their circumstances, toward realistic educational and career choices. During career guidance, they become aware of their competencies and abilities and what they need to develop to achieve their goals. You will work with participants both individually and in groups, where you conduct various group activities.
The role includes informing participants about different educational paths and career fields and supporting them on the way to suitable and sustainable education and employment. Together with the participant, you will build a realistic career plan that describes the steps needed to reach the ultimate goal—employment.
Your work tasks are to:
Manage the cohesive guidance process.
Conduct assessment conversations, individual guidance conversations, group guidance, workshops, lectures, and learning initiatives.
Identify the participant's needs, experiences, competencies, and interests.
Together with participants, create clear and realistic career plans.
Plan, document, and coordinate.
Collaborate with other career and educational counselors and supervisors.
Create and maintain good contact with companies and educational providers.
We are looking for someone who is driven, self-directed, goal-oriented, structured, and quality-conscious. It is important that you are curious, empathetic, creative, relationship-oriented, and can adapt to different people and situations. In addition, you are used to gathering information, have good knowledge of current educational fields, and have experience using digital tools.
There is a clear set of regulations to follow, as this role is an assignment from the Swedish Public Employment Service. Therefore, it is important that we work according to the same structure and procedures, and that we do so together as a unified team.
The position is full-time and on-site at our office in Norrköping.
Requirements You must meet the following requirements: You are a certified career and educational counselor and are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing.
Study certificate must be provided.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Additional languages beyond Swedish and English are merits.
