We are seeking immediately a staff member for the Municipal Activity Responsibility (KAA) at Moraberg Study Center. All municipalities are required to stay informed about and offer individual measures to young people under 20 years of age who are not studying in upper secondary school or pursuing equivalent education. KAA shall continuously throughout the year stay informed about how young people in the municipality who belong to the target group for activity responsibility are occupied. KAA shall offer young people covered by the activity responsibility appropriate individual measures. The measures shall primarily aim to motivate young people to begin or resume education. At Moraberg Study Center, we offer, among other things, Individual Alternative. KAA works closely with Moraberg Study Center, which is a small school with approximately 200 students where we have gathered teachers and a student health team with specialized competence for students who want to become eligible for national programs and/or develop their new language, Swedish. Students from KAA have the opportunity within Individual Alternative to take upper secondary courses in combination with primary school subjects. Our goal is to motivate and guide students to further studies or to working life. At Moraberg Study Center, all students should feel welcome, seen, and understood, and a warm and relationship-focused climate shall prevail. At Moraberg Study Center, students choose to study one of the following introductory programs: Language Introduction or Vocational Introduction toward Stylist as well as Motorcycle Mechanics. Your Responsibilities The work includes contacting young people between 16 and 19 years of age (not yet 20) and those who do not have an occupation you shall motivate to resume studies, begin an internship, or offer other motivating measures. It also includes an outreach assignment where you and a colleague go door-to-door in cases where we previously have not been able to make contact via letters, SMS, or phone calls. You shall document the measures appropriately. KAA shall maintain a register of young people covered by the activity responsibility. The assignment also includes teaching groups/classes when regular teachers are absent. Who Are You? You are a Career and Study Advisor or have come a good way into the education and completed internship at middle school or upper secondary school. You have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well familiar with current curriculum and other governing documents. Personal Qualities: - You have a positive and empathetic approach - You are responsible and take on your work with great commitment - If you are also creative and solution-focused, we can offer you an exciting and educational workplace. Requirements: - You have a professional degree as a Career and Study Advisor or are near the end of your education. - Class B driver's license Meritorious: - Good knowledge of NPF We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The position encompasses 60-100% with start as soon as possible through February 2027.
