Career and Educational Counselor

Skärgårdsgymnasiet in Åkersberga is seeking an engaged career and educational counselor who wants to be close to students and make a difference during their high school years – and in the next step toward work and adult life. As a career and educational counselor with us, you will have a central role in the school's student health work and become part of our student health team (EHT). Together with the school's other professionals, you work preventatively and promotively to create good conditions for our students to learn and develop. You meet students in our vocational programs and help them see their possibilities, understand their choices, and find motivation to reach their goals. You work closely with students, teachers, mentors, and student health services and contribute your perspective in work regarding students' development and future. We are looking for someone who is confident, relationship-building, organized, and solution-oriented. You have an easy time building trust with young people and are at the same time thorough and administratively skilled. You enjoy keeping processes, documentation, study planning, and other parts of the career guidance role in order. Questions about the position?
