AKG Sverige is now looking for a committed and professional career advisor and educational guidance counselor for the Swedish Public Employment Service's Career Guidance (KVL) program. In this role, you will guide people toward employment or education by strengthening their career competence, mapping their circumstances, and together creating a clear plan forward. The Career Guidance service aims to provide participants with increased knowledge about themselves, the labor market, and various educational and career paths. About the Position As a career advisor and educational guidance counselor within Career Guidance, you are responsible for participants' guidance process from start to finish. You meet people with different backgrounds, experiences, and needs and help them make well-informed decisions about future work and studies. Your work includes: Individual assessment interviews Qualified guidance conversations Competency inventory and analysis of the participant's strengths, experience, and goals Information about educational pathways, study financing, professions, and labor market Development of individual career plans Motivational and coaching conversations Documentation according to Swedish Public Employment Service guidelines Collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service, educational providers, employers, and other partners Participation in study visits and other activities that strengthen participants' ability to make sustainable choices for the future We are Looking for Someone Who Holds a degree in career and educational guidance from a college or university (Required) Has good knowledge of the education system and labor market Has a strong ability to create trusting relationships Has experience with conversation work and guidance Has good administrative skills and experience with documentation Has good digital competence Expresses yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing Meritorious Experience working with adult job seekers and labor market policy initiatives is highly meritorious Experience from the Swedish Public Employment Service or from provider operations within the Swedish Public Employment Service's services Experience in adult guidance, transition work, or coaching Experience working with people who are new to Sweden Experience meeting people in need of adapted support Knowledge of different sectors of the labor market and competency requirements Personal Qualities To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are: Attentive and empathetic Professional and trustworthy Independent and responsible Structured and thorough Flexible and solution-oriented Committed to supporting people in change processes We Offer At AKG Sverige you get: Meaningful work where you make a difference for people every day The opportunity to contribute to the development of an important labor market service Competent and dedicated colleagues Varied and independent work Opportunity for professional development An organization characterized by quality, respect, and commitment Employment Permanent employment with probation period according to agreement Full-time Location Örebro or another location within the current service area Start date according to agreement Application Selection and interviews are ongoing, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.Career Advisor and Educational Guidance Counselor for Career Guidance (KVL) Would you like to make a real difference in people's futures?
