Welcome to apply for a job with us! About the job We are now seeking new student ambassadors to represent and market Linköping University (LiU). As a student ambassador, you work for LiU with the purpose of informing about our programs and courses, what it's like to study at LiU, how a student's free time looks, and more. Examples of events you will participate in include education fairs in various cities, open houses, visits to high schools in the region, receiving visits from prospective students, and various mini fairs. You will also be offered the opportunity to help with campaigns and special events organized annually to market LiU, work with our social channels, and/or during our academic celebration period. In short, you will highlight LiU's message in various arenas by meeting and inspiring other people. If applicable, you may also be offered assignments in other departments within LiU. The job includes one mandatory training evening. About you You enjoy meeting new people and sharing your experiences as a student at LiU. You are responsible, positive, action-oriented, and like to take your own initiative in your work. You master the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing. We want you to have completed at least 30 credits at LiU before you apply for the position as a student ambassador, and you must be a registered student at LiU. A driver's license is not required but should be noted in your application. Previous experience as a student ambassador or similar work is meritorious but not required. We welcome applicants from all programs and strive for a mix of student ambassadors from different faculties, programs, and study locations. We are also looking for you who are taking independent courses. Your workplace The Communications and Marketing Department develops and coordinates the external and internal communication and marketing of LiU. We offer you an opportunity to gain important work experience while you study. As a student ambassador, you also contribute to a higher level of education in society by recruiting new students. About the employment Hourly employment as needed during the period October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027. Scope and schedule will be adapted to individual circumstances such as study load. Salary and benefits Hourly wage according to the agreement for student ambassadors at LiU.
