Student Assistant – Youth Leader for Cultural School's older student groups (15 h/week)

Do you want to work with young people in a creative and meaningful environment while studying?
Cultural School is now looking for a student assistant youth leader with the task of supporting and leading our oldest students.
About the assignment
As a youth leader, you are an important adult for our older participants. The assignment has a social and leadership support focus and is about creating safety, participation, and context in the activities.
You don't need to be a musician – what matters is that you enjoy meeting with young people and have the ability to lead, support, and engage.
Work takes place on weekdays and also includes weekend work, for example during rehearsals, activities, and events.
You work closely with educators and other staff in the Cultural School's activities.
Work tasks
Support and lead older students in Cultural School's activities
Be a safe and present adult in groups and activities
Participate in planning and implementation of, for example
– social activities and events (including weekends)
Encourage participation, responsibility, and own initiatives among participants
We're looking for you who
Are a student and can work approximately 15 hours per week, including certain weekends
Have a genuine interest in young people's development and well-being
Are safe, responsible, and relationship-building
Have good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing
Have basic digital skills (e.g., can use digital tools for communication, planning, and information sharing)
Which education you're pursuing is less important – we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability and commitment.

Cultural Administration
The Cultural Administration works to ensure that Stockholm's cultural offering consists of a diversity of different expressions, offerings, and opportunities while also containing both breadth and excellence. The Cultural Administration is responsible for most of the municipality's cultural activities and supports the independent cultural sector.
The Cultural Administration has approximately 1,000 employees and includes the Cultural School, Stockholm City Library, Liljevalchs Art Hall, Stockholm Art, and the City Museum. The Events Department arranges large public events such as Stockholm Culture Festival and the youth festival We Are Sthlm. The Cultural Administration's activities have approximately 11 million visits every year.
A challenge for the Cultural Administration is to reach more people and groups that we don't reach today. Everyone should feel welcome in our activities, which places high demands on employees' competence and commitment. We actively work with sustainability and strive for equality and diversity.
