We in the electricity division at the Swedish Transport Administration's technical department are now seeking a student worker for fall term 2026 to help us update and analyze documentation for our power system. Duties As a student worker with us, you will work with: • Updating calculation files for relay protection settings. • Reviewing, compiling, and analyzing documents from previous investigations, tests, designs, etc. (Primarily related to relay protection.) • Inventorying and analyzing requirement documents, drawings, and facility information related to electricity or how the power system is modeled. You will join a team of power system specialists at the Swedish Transport Administration's technical department working with analysis, requirement specification, and knowledge dissemination regarding the Swedish Transport Administration's power system. Here you have excellent opportunities to apply your theoretical knowledge from school to real-world cases and challenges. The position runs during the term with the possibility of extension for additional terms. Qualifications Who are you? You are solution-oriented and have the ability to tackle different tasks. You are motivated by active participation where you take responsibility for your work in a goal-oriented manner while being mindful of how you contribute to the bigger picture through collaboration with others. • You are a full-time student at university level in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical power and have completed at least 120 university credits. • You have not begun doctoral studies. • You have experience working with relay protection setting calculations and analyzing relay protection tests. • You have knowledge of how the Swedish Transport Administration's power system is designed. Other Information As part of our team, you will work 25%, which corresponds to approximately 10 hours per week.
