The Department of Nutrition and Sports Science (IKI) conducts undergraduate education, research, research training, and collaboration assignments in sports science and nutrition science. The current position is based at C-building, Pedagogen. Job Duties The student worker will primarily work in the nutrition field assisting mainly with teaching through administrative and practical tasks related to the training kitchen, including product ordering/purchasing, inventory, preparations, and setup. Other tasks within the responsibility of operations support may also occur. Work duties are expected to be performed on-site at the department. Qualifications Student worker positions are governed by the Agreement on Terms for Time-Limited Employment as Student Worker (effective April 1, 2014). The purpose of employment as a student worker is to create conditions for combining work and studies, where work duties are connected to your ongoing studies. Such a connection helps provide you with practical work experience and facilitates the transition between studies and professional life, while we as an employer also benefit from current knowledge. To be employed as a student worker, you must: Be pursuing full-time studies at university level (Chapter 6, Section 2 of the Higher Education Ordinance) Have completed approved studies corresponding to at least 60 higher education credits Have not yet begun research education For this position, you must study at the Department of Nutrition and Sports Science, within the Nutrition and Leadership Program, Health Promotion Program, or Teacher Program in Home and Consumer Studies. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience with: Administrative work Food handling Food ordering/purchasing This position suits you if you are thorough, enjoy practical tasks, and are comfortable working both independently and with others. To succeed in the role, you need good communication skills and be able to keep well-organized and clear notes. You have a strong ability to follow instructions and carry out routine tasks with maintained accuracy. The work involves close collaboration with other staff. Employment This is a time-limited position through spring term 2027, at 20% of full-time. Placement at the Department of Nutrition and Sports Science. Start as soon as possible by agreement.
