Your New Job
Working as a student teacher gives you a unique opportunity to put the theory you learn during your education into practice. You will gradually be introduced to your new profession and grow in the teaching role together with us. With flexible working hours, you have the opportunity to determine when you are available, making it easy to balance work and studies. As a student teacher, you not only have the opportunity to supplement your student finances, but also the chance to help shape the future for our children and students and influence their learning and development, while gaining invaluable experience in your future profession.
As a student teacher, you can work as a temporary employee on short substitute assignments ranging from 1 to 14 days. There may also be opportunities for longer assignments within our operations. Through our LinkedIn page, which you will have access to when hired as a student teacher, you can submit an expression of interest for these longer assignments.
You will work with children or students at various schools and replace regular staff during their absence. This means you will experience several different work methods that contribute to your personal development. By gaining work experience and building a strong network, you will be well-prepared for your future career in this field.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone studying one of the following teacher education programs:
Preschool Teacher Program
Elementary Teacher Program with focus on preschool class and grades 1–3
Elementary Teacher Program with focus on grades 4–6
Elementary Teacher Program with focus on work in leisure centers
Subject Teacher Program with focus on grades 7–9 or upper secondary school
You must have completed your first work-integrated learning period (VFU) with a passing grade.
Our Expectations of You as a Teacher
You have good pedagogical skills, a positive approach, and are a safe role model for our children and students.
You have a flexible approach to working hours, as the work may involve being booked at a school with short notice.
You have high adaptability and responsiveness to quickly understand new environments and contribute to functioning operations.
You are responsible, take initiative, have good collaboration skills, and can set boundaries when needed.
You communicate well with children, students, staff, and guardians and can convey messages clearly. Therefore, it is important that you have good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Transcript of completed university credits (Ladok)
According to the Education Act, all employees hired by our operations must provide a valid certificate from the criminal record register. As of March 1, 2026, enhanced background checks have been introduced for persons working with children. This means you will need to submit an additional certificate before employment.
