Ref: 20261517 Duties Malmö Konstmuseum's project in Kungsparken is undertaking the development of the Art Museum's role and the significance of its activities for Malmö and its residents, with an eye toward the future. It is a laboratory where we explore how new types of meetings, collaborations, relevance, and curiosity can emerge—between Malmö residents, the art museum, and artists. Work with and activation of Kungsparken forms an important part of strategic work for the new art museum in Malmö. We are seeking a student assistant to gather and communicate knowledge, insights, and lessons from work processes, programs, and meetings in Kungsparken. There is also ongoing planning and implementation of collaborations with artists and educational activities for children and adults. There are many interesting areas of work within the art museum's activities to engage with. As a student assistant in Malmö City, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge alongside your studies through assignments within our operations. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, valuable contacts, and compensation. The assignment includes gathering and communicating knowledge, insights, and lessons from work processes, programs, and meetings in Kungsparken with a view toward developing future art museum activities. Depending on your interests and skills, the assignment can be directed toward communication, educational activities, or events and hosting. During the assignment, we will work with, among other things, programs for Forbidden Culture Week, autumn break activities with the theme Art & Play, and activities focused on diversity. We will also plan and prepare a range of activities and art projects for spring 2027. The student assistant will deliver an internal report or digital presentation containing knowledge, insights, and lessons from the program. Qualifications The student assistant program is designed for you if you have completed at least 60 higher education credits and are still studying throughout the entire assignment period. You are studying with a focus on communication, media, visual communication, marketing, cultural studies, or equivalent education working at the intersection of communication, production, and design. You are proficient in both Swedish and English in speech and writing and have experience with knowledge documentation. It is beneficial if you have experience with photography or processing digital images. You are thorough and interested in the subject area and this type of process work. As a person, you are good at collaboration and structured work. About the Workplace Work hours will be primarily located at the Art Museum's premises in Kungsparken, but may also take place at the Art Museum's location at Malmöhus Castle. Both locations are centrally located in Malmö. The assignment covers a maximum of 100 hours. Work Hours: As a student assistant, you work approximately 10–15 hours per week during daytime. Work hours are largely flexible. You will agree with your supervisor on work hours that can be combined with your studies.
