We are recruiting personal assistants for several of our young people and young adults. Are you planning to take a study break or looking for a side job while studying? You are also welcome to apply if you want to work for a longer period before starting your studies. In the role of personal assistant, the chemistry between assistant and client is important. That's why we invest a lot of effort in matching you with the right client! In most cases, you don't need prior experience as a personal assistant, but it is important that you are genuinely interested in working with people and that you are flexible, reliable, and empathetic. To thrive with this challenge, it's also essential that you are creative and can take your own initiative. Equally important is that you can step back and let the client take the lead in interactions with family and friends. With us, you'll work alongside young people who need support to live an active life on their own terms. Work tasks vary depending on the client but may include helping with different types of training at home or at the gym, leisure activities, studies, and work. Travel with the client may occur. Many of our young people have extensive care needs that may include tube feeding, medication administration, transfers between assistive devices, communication support, and personal care – tasks that require great responsibility. Work hours vary based on client needs and may be scheduled during day, afternoon/evening, active nights, or nights with on-call sleeping duties, weekdays as well as weekends. About the Employment The employment is for a fixed period as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and compensation is hourly wages. Salary and other employment terms are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
