Ref: 20261894 Job Responsibilities We are seeking a student assistant who can participate in the school's systematic quality work (SKA). Mellersta Förstadsskolan has the overarching commitment of "Increased attendance in instruction through continued work based on the Attendance Ladder" during this academic year. During the fall, we will therefore examine more closely various aspects of the quality of our work with student attendance and what effects our efforts have on student academic results. The purpose of systematic quality work is to make quality and equity visible—what we do, why we do it, and what it leads to. By planning, following up, analyzing, documenting, and developing education, we can create and share knowledge about what leads to success. The student assistant will therefore take an active part in the school's SKA by collecting data and evaluating various processes through interviews and compilation of data at both individual and group levels. Likewise, the student assistant will prepare written summaries and analyses based on the results that emerge, particularly regarding strategies linked to the school's attendance work. This is so we can identify what needs further development, what our success factors are, and how we meet students' needs for increased attendance. As a student assistant in the City of Malmö, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge alongside your studies through assignments within our operations. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, valuable contacts, and a salary. Working hours can correspond to approximately 10-15 hours per week. Qualifications The student assistant program is directed toward those who have completed at least 60 higher education credits and continue studying throughout the entire assignment period. You study within one of the subject areas of behavioral science, political science, sociology, or psychology. You have the ability to work independently following instructions and conduct analyses. As a person, you are curious and have an interest in the school environment. Fluent and unobstructed Swedish language skills in both speaking and understanding, as well as correct written Swedish, are required. It is meriting if you have experience working with young people in various contexts.
