Do you want to be part of developing the future of adult education in northern Sweden? Adult Education in Southern Norrbotten (VSN) is a collaboration between Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Piteå, and Älvsbyn. We are now seeking a strategic coordinator who wants to contribute to development, collaboration, and quality in our joint educational initiatives.
Responsibilities
As a strategic coordinator, you will drive and develop collaboration between the five municipalities' adult education services. You will serve as support to the steering group, school principals, and rectors by coordinating processes, preparing analyses and decision-making materials, and monitoring joint goals and activities.
Your duties include:
- Leading and coordinating cross-municipal development processes
- Preparing materials, analyses, and follow-ups for management and the steering group
- Monitoring developments in adult education and relevant regulatory and external matters
- Coordinating statistics, quality work, and joint development initiatives
- Creating conditions for collaboration and experience sharing between municipalities
Travel within the collaboration area occurs regularly.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- An academic degree in, for example, social sciences, pedagogy, public administration, economics, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
- Several years of experience in qualified coordination, process management, project management, or operations development
- Experience preparing analyses, decision-making materials, and follow-ups
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
- Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft 365
- A category B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have experience from politically governed operations, adult education, quality work, or inter-municipal collaboration.

Position Placement (Since the assignment covers all of Adult Education in Southern Norrbotten, the placement location may be in one of the five collaborating municipalities: Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Piteå, or Älvsbyn. We will try to adapt the placement based on the person offered the position.)
