The Security Coordinator Role
As a security coordinator, you work strategically and supportively to create a safe and secure environment for the employees, patients, students, and visitors of Region Jönköpings län. In your role, you will:
• Work with strategic security matters
• Coordinate and develop security work within Region Jönköpings län
• Lead and drive development projects in the security field
• Monitor the external environment and stay updated on news within the security field
This is a permanent full-time position based in Jönköping and involves travel throughout the region. A Class B driver's license is required. Since the role is classified as security-sensitive, Swedish citizenship and an approved background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) are required before taking office.

The Environment, Preparedness, and Security operation consists of approximately 40 employees who together represent broad expertise in environment, preparedness, security, and surveillance. We are organized into four units:

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
• Higher education with a focus on security, crisis management, or other relevant education or experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Several years of experience with strategic security work.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Experience with business development and project management (meritorious).
• Are a team player with good collaboration skills and the ability to build strong networks.
• Are solution-focused and have good planning and organizational abilities.
• Are self-driven and take initiative.
• Have experience working in a politically governed organization (meritorious).
