Are you an experienced strategic procurement manager who thrives in a role where you can combine supplier development, business acumen, and long-term relationships? We are now seeking a consultant for an extended assignment at an industry-focused organization with a focus on strategic procurement and supplier collaborations.
In this role, you will be responsible for a selected number of suppliers and actively work to ensure that the organization's needs are met regarding technology, quality, capacity, and delivery capability. You will drive and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance through relevant KPIs, and initiate improvement measures as needed.
About the Assignment
Scope: Full-time (100%)
Start: By agreement
Assignment Duration: Through May 2027
Location: Örnsköldsvik with possibility for some remote work
The assignment requires approved security clearance and drug testing before the assignment begins. The security clearance may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop collaboration with selected suppliers
Monitor quality, delivery accuracy, and other key metrics
Work with supplier development and continuous improvements
Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships
Manage and administer supplier agreements, including NDAs
Handle article changes and update procurement-related information
Ensure correct information in business systems and documentation
Follow up and coordinate projects together with suppliers
Report status and progress on ongoing activities and projects
About You
You have experience with strategic procurement
You have a good understanding of supplier relationships and business negotiations
You are comfortable driving matters independently while collaborating well with others
You are structured, solution-oriented, and communicative
Meritorious
Experience working with hydraulics
Experience with supplier development
Experience with SAP or similar business systems
Personal Qualities
