We are a small team with great responsibility, which means you'll be involved in the entire process, from identifying new opportunities to developing and launching products on the market, says Aleksandar Zivkovic, Head of Own Brands About the Role As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will have overall responsibility for selected categories within our private brands. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in procurement, sales, marketing, and aftermarket, as well as with our retailers throughout the Nordic region. You will also work closely with international suppliers and procurement offices in China to ensure the right products, the right quality, and the right business. In the role, you will, among other things: take responsibility for and develop selected product categories identify new business opportunities and develop the assortment evaluate and optimize suppliers and products drive negotiations regarding agreements and pricing collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality and profitability monitor market trends and translate insights into business opportunities contribute product knowledge through training, trade shows, and engagement with our stores An important part of the work also involves product development and quality assurance. Products are continuously tested and evaluated by the team before they reach the market. – We are a small and committed team with a relaxed hierarchy where everyone is expected to contribute ideas and drive development forward. We're looking for someone with experience in strategic procurement and international business, preferably within retail. If you have worked in the private brands or consumer products segment, that's a plus. We believe you thrive with us if you are: business-driven and analytical self-driven and proactive communicative and relationship-building curious and innovative in your thinking comfortable working in a changing and international environment You have a good understanding of international business and feel comfortable communicating with suppliers around the world. You are experienced in managing multiple parallel projects, and since the role involves many contact points, you also need to enjoy collaborating and creating engagement with others. Other Information The position is based at our headquarters in Örebro and you will work primarily from the office. The role involves international contact points and therefore requires good English skills, both spoken and written.
