About the Role We are now seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager for our customer in the automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement work within a defined area and drive both strategic and operational initiatives with a focus on cost efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability. In the role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, where you will not only manage ongoing procurement activities but also develop long-term strategies, drive improvement initiatives, and contribute to business development in areas such as sustainability. Examples of job responsibilities: Lead and drive daily procurement activities Responsible for and conduct strategic sourcing work, and drive cost reduction initiatives Develop and implement business and procurement strategies Negotiate agreements and ensure effective supplier solutions Establish and develop structures for Supplier Relationship Management Monitor and analyze market developments that affect availability and pricing Ensure that delivery, quality, and cost meet established targets Collaborate with internal functions and project teams About You: We are seeking someone who is a confident and business-driven procurement professional with a strong ability to work both strategically and operationally. You have several years of experience in procurement, including strategic procurement work and supplier development in complex, preferably technical environments. We also see that you have strong negotiation skills and high business acumen, with experience working in international organizations. You have good collaboration skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders; experience from the automotive industry or similar is a merit. Key Requirements for the Role: Relevant experience in strategic procurement, preferably within logistics or the automotive industry Experience in sourcing, supplier development, and cost optimization Experience developing and implementing procurement or category strategies Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into business decisions Experience driving projects independently Please note that this is a position where you have the opportunity to submit your CV to work as a consultant via Adecco.
