We are now looking for a strategic procurement manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading industrial operation. About the Assignment As a strategic procurement manager, you are responsible for driving and developing the organization's procurement work with a focus on long-term competitiveness, supplier development, and business value. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in areas such as sales, projects, and production to ensure efficient and sustainable procurement solutions. The role involves both strategic and operational work where you are responsible for supplier strategies, procurements, negotiations, and commercial relationships. You will be an important player in cross-functional projects and contribute to developing processes and work methods for efficient procurement. Responsibilities Drive strategic procurements and negotiations Develop and implement procurement strategies based on organizational goals Identify, qualify, and develop new and existing suppliers Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships Manage commercial matters with suppliers Participate in and drive cross-functional projects Ensure that agreements, processes, and procedures are followed Contribute to standardization and improvement of procurement processes Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders Contribute to knowledge sharing and development within the procurement area Who Are You? You are a business-driven and analytical person with a strategic mindset and strong self-motivation. You enjoy building relationships, negotiating, and finding solutions that create value for both the organization and suppliers. Furthermore, you are communicative, structured, and experienced in working in an environment where multiple activities and projects run in parallel. Required Qualifications Academic education in procurement, supply chain, engineering, economics, or another relevant field At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, procurement management, or supply chain Documented experience in supplier development and supplier management Good understanding of commercial agreements and negotiations Experience with ERP systems and digital procurement processes Technical understanding through education or work experience Good experience working in cross-functional organizations Experience managing multiple projects and activities in parallel Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Experience in Category Management is a merit Interested?
