Your Role As a Strategic Procurement Manager in Mechanical Engineering, you play a central role in developing supplier collaborations and creating sustainable business solutions for mechanical components and systems. You work in close cooperation with colleagues from various functions and have the opportunity to influence both strategic decisions and future working methods. Your main responsibilities: Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships Drive supplier development in quality, delivery precision, innovation, and cost efficiency Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments Handle requests, quote evaluations, and commercial negotiations Negotiate and establish agreements and lead agreement-related activities Develop and implement procurement and supplier strategies Lead cross-functional teams in projects and procurements Contribute to ensuring long-term supplier capacity and supply Manage escalations and complex supplier matters You will work closely with colleagues in design, quality, legal, production, industrial cooperation, and operational procurement. We believe you have: An academic degree or equivalent experience Experience from a commercial role in, for example, procurement, project management, sales, logistics, engineering, or finance Experience from manufacturing industry, preferably in mechanical engineering, is a merit Experience with Power BI An analytical and structured approach to work Experience in negotiations and contracts is a merit You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
