The Elderly Care Administration is responsible for citywide issues related to elderly care, and for coordinating, developing and monitoring elderly care in the city in dialogue with the district boards. Welcome to us At the Elderly Care Administration, we are responsible for citywide issues in elderly care. We coordinate, develop and monitor elderly care in the city in close dialogue with our district administrations and other specialized administrations. In the Department for Citywide Elderly Care Issues, we are approximately 30 employees and three managers. We manage and develop preventive work in elderly care in Stockholm, coordinate and plan our supply of special housing for the elderly, work with long-term competency development and authority issues, procure and manage agreements, and monitor elderly care activities. From September 1st, the administration will have a new unit focusing on analysis and coordination. We are looking for a new colleague who wants to join our team and contribute with new perspectives and engagement. Initially, you will mainly work with Stockholm City's citywide project Future Social Services. Your role As a strategist, you have a central role in developing the city's elderly care. Your main responsibilities include independently conducting qualified investigations, responding to motions, letters and referrals compiling and analyzing results from various follow-ups writing documentation at a citywide level for political decisions leading projects working closely with colleagues in the department cooperating with our district administrations, specialized administrations, other authorities, the city's elderly care providers and the general public contributing to evidence-based development in the field You report to your unit manager. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has a completed degree in social work or another academic degree that the employer finds equivalent experience working with qualified investigation work in elderly care or the social services field very good knowledge of authority issues in elderly care or social services several years of experience with strategic work in elderly care or social services very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish. It is advantageous if you have experience leading larger assignments or projects worked with the transition under the new Social Services Act worked within public operations in Stockholm City with good understanding of the city's governance. To thrive in this role, you need to have strategic ability, be development-oriented and have a good ability to independently plan and manage your work efficiently. You find it easy to switch between detail and holistic perspectives, have a strong analytical mind and the ability to handle complex issues.
