JOB RESPONSIBILITIES About the role As a strategist for security and preparedness, you have overall responsibility for driving, developing, and ensuring quality in the department's work on information security, data protection, and preparedness planning. The role is positioned in management and staff and involves close collaboration with managers and employees throughout the organization. You are qualified support for the business in implementing legislation, guidelines, and plans into practical work. The assignment includes ensuring that work is conducted legally and in a structured manner, while solutions and working methods contribute to operational benefit and create value for those we serve. Job Responsibilities - Drive and develop work on information security, data protection, and preparedness - Develop, coordinate, and follow up on governing documents, plans, and procedures - Plan and lead information classification, risk and vulnerability analyses, and impact assessments - Support operations and managers in planning and implementing digitalization initiatives and other security-related matters - Handle incidents and contribute to systematic improvement work - Participate in and collaborate within municipality-wide networks Special expectations for the role In this role, you are expected to balance requirements for compliance with legislation and guidelines with a business-focused and solution-oriented approach. You contribute to integrating security issues into business development, particularly in connection with digitalization, and you create understanding and engagement in the organization. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant university education, at least a bachelor's degree Experience working with information security, data protection, or preparedness issues Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work Ability to work independently and drive processes toward desired results Good communication skills and experience collaborating with different stakeholders We are looking for a problem solver who can analyze situations, identify solutions, and develop effective, implementable strategies to overcome challenges.
