RESPONSIBILITIES As a strategist with us, you strengthen operational development and results by ensuring managers have the right conditions to succeed in their role. As a leadership strategist, you contribute to creating good conditions for managers to lead operations, people, and change in a complex organization. In this role, you are responsible for developing Region Västerbotten's work with leadership and management, and for helping strengthen the region's leadership culture. You design, coordinate, and follow up initiatives for management and leadership development according to Region Västerbotten's leadership philosophy with the goal of creating good conditions for managers to succeed in their roles. Through environmental monitoring, you follow research, trends, and new methods in leadership, organizational development, and change management. You produce analyses, decision-making materials, and development proposals that support strategic decisions and operational development. The work takes place in close collaboration with operations and other key functions, where you contribute to translating overarching goals, strategies, and ideas into concrete and sustainable development in the organization. You will be based in Umeå, in the Region's building, which is close to both Norrland University Hospital and Umeå University. You have several years of experience in qualified work in leadership development, organizational development, or HR. To succeed in this role, you need a strong ability to analyze needs, identify development opportunities, and translate analyses, ideas, and strategies into concrete initiatives and results.
