The Elderly Care Administration is responsible for city-wide issues concerning elderly care, and for coordinating, developing and monitoring elderly care in the city in dialogue with the district committees. Welcome to Us The Elderly Care Administration has approximately 170 employees and consists of four departments: Stockholm Safety Hotline, the Department for City-wide Elderly Care Issues, the Department for Digitalization and IT, and the Administrative Department. We are responsible for matters including authority administration, planning, follow-up, digitalization, health and medical care, and education. We are now seeking a strategist for the Department for City-wide Elderly Care Issues who wants to be part of our continued development work. You will be part of a new unit for analysis and coordination, which is responsible for competence supply issues, follow-up and the transition to Future Social Services. The work is independent with a clear focus on qualified investigations, mapping and follow-up. Within the scope of your role, you will have coordination responsibility for one of the three pillars that make up Stockholm's follow-up model for elderly care operations. This pillar – operations follow-up – involves monitoring compliance with legal requirements and procedures. The main follow-up work is carried out by approximately 35 operations monitors in the districts. You are responsible for overall planning, ensuring consistency in follow-ups, conducting orientation for new monitors, compiling and analyzing results at the city-wide level, and planning and conducting coordination meetings with the team of monitors. An important part of the work as a strategist is collaboration with city administrations, authorities, the city's elderly care providers and the public. You will also work closely with colleagues in the unit and other units within the department. You will independently investigate issues based on budget assignments related to the operational area, compile and analyze results from various follow-ups, lead projects, conduct meetings and workshops, write service statements and respond to referrals and letters. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for you who have: - completed higher education within, for example, social sciences, political science or a social work degree, or another higher education degree that the employer considers equivalent - experience working with systematic quality management within elderly care - experience in developing and analyzing quantitative data - very good skills in Excel and experience with survey tools - experience with investigations and writing qualified reports - excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish - experience with coordination or project management - good knowledge of the elderly care operational area It is a merit for the role if you have previously worked with similar tasks within municipal operations. You are a development-oriented person who often comes up with your own initiatives for improvements and solutions in your work.
