The Elderly Care Administration is responsible for city-wide issues related to elderly care, and for coordinating, developing, and monitoring elderly care in the city in dialogue with the district committees.

At the Elderly Care Administration, we are responsible for city-wide elderly care issues. We coordinate, develop, and monitor elderly care in the city in close dialogue with our district administrations and other specialized administrations.
In the City-Wide Elderly Care Issues Department, we are 30 employees and three managers. We manage and develop the city's authority functions within elderly care, strategically coordinate and plan our supply of special housing for the elderly, procure and manage agreements, and monitor the activities of elderly care operations.

Your role
As a strategy director, you have a central role in developing the city's elderly care and supporting the transition based on the new Social Services Act. Your main responsibilities include:
- supporting the district administrations in matters concerning case handling and authority functions
- independently investigating issues based on budget assignments
- compiling and analyzing results from various monitoring activities
- writing reports at a city-wide level for political decisions
- writing service statements and responding to referrals
- leading projects and collaborating closely with colleagues in the department
- cooperating with our district administrations, specialized administrations, other authorities, the city's elderly care providers, and the public
You report to your unit manager.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for someone who has
- a degree in social work or equivalent academic degree
- worked on extensive investigations and written qualified reports
- worked strategically for several years within elderly care or social services
- worked with authority functions for several years within elderly care or social services, such as benefits administrator or social worker
- strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish

To succeed in the role, you need to have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you find it easy to make new contacts and maintain relationships.
