About the position With us, you will be part of a language teacher team characterized by collaboration, community, and high ambitions. In this position, you will teach Spanish to grades 6-9. Spanish classes are shared with another qualified teacher, providing excellent opportunities for subject collaboration. We have effective collaboration within the language subjects where we plan regularly together and support each other in both pedagogical and practical work. You will be an important part of a team where we share ideas, plan together, and strive to develop instruction collaboratively. Classes consist of 15–20 students, which creates excellent conditions for building relationships and working deeply on language development. Who are you? We are seeking a qualified, licensed teacher in Spanish. We are looking for a proactive teacher with clear expectations for students and the ability to create an accessible learning environment so students achieve results. You should have experience with and a willingness to meet students' diverse needs. In your teaching, you should spark students' curiosity to explore and experiment with different materials and confidently take on challenges in creative ways. It is important that you can find different strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in their academic and personal development. As a person, you are responsive and unpretentious. Through your interest in and understanding of others, you foster a respectful work climate. You have a good manner of interaction and approach students and colleagues with openness and a positive attitude. You have the ability to build strong relationships and contribute to finding possibilities and solutions in our work to develop a school that meets students' needs in the best possible way. We would appreciate someone with good personal maturity, an ability to collaborate easily, who takes initiative in leadership, and works in a structured manner. You are interested in the broader work and will be part of a team where we see you as a resource to strengthen our pedagogical work so that more students reach their goals. Encouraging shared influence, openness, and tolerance are things we take for granted. It is important that you can work independently within guidelines and established practices. The work requires flexibility, initiative, good collaboration skills, and a positive view of students. You must have command of Swedish in both speech and writing.
