Infection Control, Care Hygiene, Public Health & Healthcare We are seeking someone who wants to continue developing efforts against antibiotic resistance and healthcare-associated infections in Region Jönköpings Län. The STRAMA Coordinator Role As a STRAMA coordinator, you will support initiatives related to antibiotic resistance, antibiotic use, and healthcare-associated infections in hospital care, primary care, and dental care. An important part of your responsibilities involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting various data. You will also work externally with visits, training, and information sessions for different target groups. In addition to colleagues at Infection Control Care Hygiene, you will work closely with the region's STRAMA chair and STRAMA physicians in primary care. You will also participate in various networks both locally and nationally. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date by agreement. Your Workplace As a STRAMA coordinator, you are part of Infection Control Care Hygiene, whose work is led by the infection control physician. The unit also employs two infection control nurses, two hygiene physicians, five hygiene nurses, and an administrative coordinator. The operation is located at Länssjukhuset Ryhov. STRAMA is part of patient safety efforts within Region Jönköpings Län. Through the Antibiotic Smart concept, STRAMA work has been more integrated with care hygiene, which has been a major success factor and has contributed to Region Jönköpings Län being a national leader in this area. The goal is to offer all patients the best possible infection treatment in healthcare that counteracts antibiotic resistance and healthcare-associated infections. Your Profile You are a licensed nurse or pharmacist, or have other relevant professional background, preferably with experience from different areas of activity. You have an interest in infections and antibiotic issues and experience working with change or development initiatives. You enjoy working independently, but also establishing new contacts and networks. You are good at inspiring others and driving issues forward. The role includes speaking to groups. Since we are a support function to clinical operations, it is important to be responsive to their wishes and needs. You have good computer skills with strong knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel. You have good knowledge of Swedish and find it easy to express yourself in both speech and writing. Your English skills are sufficient to read scientific articles. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, such as the ability to take own initiative, collaborate, and plan and organize your work. Since the work is conducted across the region, a valid driver's license is a requirement.
