At Vikvägen 7, a group home is operated according to LSS (Swedish Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) in a naturally beautiful area with proximity to sea, forest, and good communications. The facility consists of five apartments and common spaces. We work according to the small group principle, which means that each user is given the opportunity for social interaction based on their individual conditions and wishes. With us live individuals with intellectual disabilities at early developmental levels, autism, and mobility impairments. The activity is characterized by present support, service, and care. As a support educator, you work closely with users in their daily lives and contribute to designing interventions based on the individual's needs, resources, and goals. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Do you want to combine close work with users with a developmental and quality-focused assignment? We are looking for a committed support educator who wants to contribute to strengthening both the individual's development and the quality of the activity. In the role of support educator, you have an in-depth pedagogical responsibility and are an important resource in daily work as well as in the development of the activity. As a support educator, you work both operationally and with comprehensive quality work. You motivate, support, and guide users through various daily tasks based on their individual needs, resources, and goals, with a focus on creating a meaningful and developmental existence. You contribute to ensuring quality in the work by supporting colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, and methods in line with current guidelines and practices. The assignment may include supervision of colleagues, follow-up and self-inspections, as well as developing and implementing methods that strengthen the quality of the activity. The work takes place both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. You contribute to structure, clarity, and a pedagogical approach in the activity. If needed, work may occur at other units through cooperation or joint planning. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Post-secondary education, for example vocational education (at least 200 YH points) in a relevant area such as support pedagogy or psychiatry, or alternatively higher education (at least 60 credits) in a relevant area • Driver's license category B • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Ability to work with and take responsibility for documentation Merits: • Experience working with autism • Experience working with intellectual disabilities • Training in and/or experience of TAKK, sign as a communication tool • Training in and/or experience of low-affect approaches • Training in and/or experience of clarifying pedagogy • Training in and/or experience of low-affect approaches • Training in and/or experience of social narratives and comic conversations • Training in and/or experience of Ritprat • Training in and/or experience of conversation mat • Experience working with NPF diagnoses Who are you? You are a secure and stable person with a pedagogical approach and a genuine interest in developing both people and methods. You have good analytical skills and can see what needs to be developed, while you translate ideas into practice. You are structured and organized, and have the ability to prioritize and create clarity in your work. You collaborate well with others, share your knowledge, and contribute to a positive work climate. With your communication skills, you are clear, responsive, and build trust with both colleagues and users. You are flexible and can adapt your working methods to changing needs. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-02. Working hours: Shift work. Day, evening, and every other weekend. Cooperation shifts may occur. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline. For employment, you must provide a valid extract from the criminal record register.
