The Care and Social Services Administration's responsibility is to provide care, support, and assistance to elderly people and persons with disabilities, as well as support to their families. We are 2,500 employees who in our various roles provide support and care to residents who need it. The Position and Your Responsibilities We are seeking support pedagogues for Botkyrka Municipality's group homes within LSS who want to contribute to strengthening the residents' independence and participation in daily life. As a support pedagogue, you work closely with residents in daily support and have expanded pedagogical responsibilities. You mentor colleagues, ensure quality in work methods, and contribute to developing approaches that promote both individual and organizational development. Your main responsibilities are to: Participate in daily work at the group home together with support assistants. Provide support in personal care and, when necessary, manage medication according to applicable procedures and delegations. Mentor colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, and low-arousal interaction approaches. Introduce and follow up on work methods and communication supports, such as AAC, TAKK, and clarifying pedagogy. Plan and document resident meetings in consultation with the unit manager. Contribute to organizational development by sharing knowledge and promoting a pedagogical approach to work. As a support pedagogue, you combine everyday practical work with a development mandate. The role contributes to residents having the conditions for an independent, meaningful, and secure life. The position comprises approximately 25 percent administrative and organizational development work and approximately 75 percent work in daily operations at the group home. About You Requirements: You have a vocational university degree as a support pedagogue within the disability field. You have experience working with persons with disabilities within LSS and can apply pedagogical methods in daily work. You also have experience mentoring colleagues or supporting work groups in pedagogical approaches. Other Requirements: Experience with social documentation. Experience in developing and following up implementation plans. Experience working with personal care and medication management. Experience with low-arousal interaction approaches. Knowledge of communication supports, such as AAC and TAKK. Experience using pedagogical methods when working with persons with disabilities. Experience working with the target group within LSS. We consider it advantageous if you have: Previous experience working as a support pedagogue. You can use your pedagogical expertise to adapt support, communication, and work methods based on each resident's needs and circumstances. You can also mentor colleagues in documentation, implementation plans, and pedagogical methods, and contribute to monitoring and developing work approaches. You collaborate with support assistants and the unit manager to plan, implement, and follow up on interventions in the organization. You can handle changing circumstances in daily work and contribute to maintaining consistent and high-quality support for residents.
