We are now recruiting support pedagogues for several activities within Functional Support! What do we do? We are part of the Functional Support operations area. We work on assignment from the assistance unit and we provide support to people who have intellectual, physical, neuropsychiatric, or mental disabilities. We are now looking for support pedagogues for our activities. Description We offer exciting assignments where through activity-based educational support you develop user-centered work in Functional Support's activities. As a support pedagogue, you have overall responsibility for the educational work in the activity. You drive and develop working methods and approaches, and ensure they are used and followed up in a structured and qualitative manner. You work together with support assistants and are part of the regular work team at your unit. Your assignment includes the same tasks as support assistants but with expanded pedagogical responsibility for the activity. You are a knowledge resource in the work team and function as support and guidance for both colleagues and management. You support the work team based on the activity's needs and actively contribute to quality development and systematic improvement work. The role also includes collaboration with family members, guardians, and other important stakeholders to ensure good care, support, and service for users. You will become part of a newly established network of support pedagogues within Functional Support in Säffle and are expected to develop this work together with your support pedagogue colleagues. The network focuses on experience exchange and method development. Working hours include day, evening, and weekend shifts. We use Time Care Planning for activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Qualifications For the position of support pedagogue, completed post-secondary specialization within the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational school credits, 120 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education must include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Conditions These positions require a class B driver's license.
