The Social Services Department in Vimmerby municipality is now seeking an engaged and driven support pedagogue who wants to help develop our support and care services (LSS). We work to create a safe and meaningful life for our users. Here you will have the opportunity to combine pedagogical work with close daily support, where user self-determination and quality of life are always at the center. You will work together with support assistants within daily activities, where you will be a natural part of the team. The position is based at Kvarnängens daily activities. Working hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a support pedagogue with us, you have a special responsibility for advancing pedagogical work. Your main job duties include: • Guide and support colleagues in daily work by implementing pedagogical methods and approaches in practical work. • Manage the documentation process by creating, following up on, and evaluating implementation plans so they comply with applicable legislation and individual needs. • Implement and develop work methods based on evidence-based practices to ensure the activity uses the most effective methods. • Ensure quality by consistently using proven experience and systematic work methods in the activity to create safety and predictability for users. • Provide direct support, service, and care in daily work with our users, where through your own actions you are a pedagogical role model. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a positive view of people and the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles. To succeed in this role, you must be communicative, organized, and have good collaboration skills. You have great patience and are empathetic and engaged. You work solution-focused and find it meaningful to work with people in need of support. You are confident and have experience from similar work. You have experience working with people with disabilities, mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm behavior, and psychotic disorders, as well as experience working with people with challenging behavior. You focus on and have the ability to see the individual, working in health-promoting and developmental ways based on users' own will and abilities. Requirements: • Support Pedagogue education, 200 YH credits. • Experience working with people with disabilities. • Good computer skills and ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. • Good knowledge of documentation and relevant legislation, LSS and HSL. • Class B driver's license. Meritorious: • Experience with structured teaching pedagogy (such as TEACCH) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). • Good knowledge of IBIC (Individual Needs at Center) This position is subject to background checks.
