We are now seeking engaged and initiative-taking support pedagogues who want to drive the pedagogical work together with support assistants at Mosåsvägen 51, Karlsbergsvägen 6, and Moholmsvägen 3b. About the Position As a support pedagogue, you work to provide service users with support in their daily lives combined with an expanded responsibility for ensuring that routines, action plans, and structures are followed and developed. A typical day with us may involve supporting service users in everything from meal preparation and care tasks, to guiding colleagues in various methods and working approaches, as well as planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing work methods and approaches in the operation. Your work is grounded in the service users' own conditions and individual support needs. Unit 1:8 consists of three operations at Mosåsvägen 51, Karlsbergsvägen 6, and Moholmsvägen 3b. As a support pedagogue, you work to strengthen service users' skills and personal development with a clear focus on their own participation and ability to influence their life situation. To ensure service users have good living conditions, we work according to a visual, individual, structured approach (VISA). Examples of work tasks: - Perform care interventions and tasks based on self-care and delegation - Guide colleagues in methods and working approaches - Support and coordinate colleagues to become independent in establishing and following up implementation plans - Coordinate collaboration with family members and multidisciplinary teams - Introduce new employees and mentor students according to your professional role - Have good knowledge of and comply with laws, policies, routines, guidelines, objectives, and plans - Use operational systems and digital tools in your work and document according to governing documents About the Workplace All three operations within Unit 1:8 are located near each other in or near the Mariebergs area. The operations have proximity to green areas and lovely walking trails. It is easy to travel to and from the residences by bus or bicycle. You will be welcomed here by other engaged support assistants and support pedagogues. The Social Services Department, functional support area, provides support and services to people with physical and mental disabilities according to the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). It is important that you collaborate well with others and that you relate to your colleagues in a responsive and flexible manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each person's individual needs. You have a high understanding of how people acquire knowledge and people's different conditions. You are a person who can take overall responsibility and who is good at taking own initiative and often coming up with ideas and new approaches to work-related matters. You have mastered the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with the service user and other staff. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and can document in writing what the operation requires. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are expected to have confidence in interaction with colleagues and service users, be solution-oriented, and have good computer skills. Requirements: - Upper secondary vocational education as a support pedagogue, treatment assistant, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or activating pedagogue, alternatively 60 credits in relevant subjects (such as pedagogy, disability studies, psychology, behavioral science, social work, or equivalent) - At least two years of experience within the functional support area Meritorious: - Knowledge or experience of working with clarifying pedagogy e.g., AAC or VISA - Knowledge in the individual's needs at the center (IBIC) - Category B driving license for manual transmission cars - Knowledge of the operational system Lifecare Scope and Start Date - Employment form: permanent position - Employment level: 100% - Start date: As soon as possible according to agreement - Number of positions: 1-3 - Working hours: day, evening, and every other weekend - The positions are filled based on required decisions being made.
