At Soldatängen's service housing, you will become part of a dedicated team where expertise, collaboration, and care are the focus. As a support pedagogue, you work alongside another support pedagogue and colleagues to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents.
You base your work on the residents' needs and wishes, working to strengthen their development and independence. An important part of the role is planning and implementing activities as well as contributing to meaningful leisure time for our residents. The work also includes household tasks, leisure activities, and care responsibilities.
In your role as support pedagogue
You are responsible for implementing, following up on, and evaluating agreed-upon methods and working practices. You support, motivate, and guide both residents and colleagues, and provide support in working with implementation plans and social documentation. Together with colleagues and your manager, you develop action plans for specific residents.
You stay updated on new methods and working practices within LSS and participate in a broader network with other support pedagogues in the disability services section. Here you have the opportunity to share experiences and access training and supervision from our methodology developers. You also collaborate regularly with the educators at Kvarnfallsvägen's group housing.
The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications
Requirements
Completed post-secondary education as a support pedagogue with a specialization in disability services or equivalent vocational college education comprising at least 200 YH credits.
At least one year of work experience supporting people with autism, intellectual disabilities, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, and/or psychiatric symptoms.
Proficiency in methods such as low-arousal approaches, IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), and AAC.
Solid knowledge of the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), the Social Services Act, and the values that permeate disability services work.
Basic computer skills and experience documenting in management systems.
Meritorious
Experience with supervision, pedagogical development work, and/or responsibility for quality assurance in operations.
B-category driver's license is an advantage.

With a listening approach, you quickly understand others' situations. Your communication is clear and reaches the relevant parties, and you are able to convey information and expectations in a straightforward manner. Good to know
To be invited for an interview, you must be able to demonstrate a passing grade in Swedish 1 at secondary level or equivalent. If this is not available, you will be asked to complete a digital language test.

Soldatängen's service housing in Sävedalen is one of Partille Municipality's LSS residences. The housing is adapted for people covered by the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. Eight people live here in their own apartments.
