At the group housing, we work with the individual at the center, using a habilitative and pedagogical approach. A respectful and low-intensity approach permeates our work. Our goal is to create a safe, predictable, and meaningful everyday life for our residents. We work based on each individual's needs, circumstances, and wishes, and place great emphasis on self-determination, participation, and good quality of life. In the operation, we actively work with structure, clarity, and communication support. We also see physical activity and meaningful leisure activities as important parts of a good everyday life. 3 position(s). WORK TASKS About the role of Support Pedagogue As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the residents and your colleagues to create security, participation, and independence in everyday life. We work according to pedagogical methods and shared approaches to achieve our common goals. Care and health and social services measures occur in daily work, as well as medication management. You work, among other things, with: • providing individually adapted support based on each person's needs and implementation plan • working with clarifying pedagogy and communication support/AAC • preventing and managing challenging behaviors through a low-intensity and professional approach • coaching and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work • contributing to the development of work methods and approaches • actively working with quality assurance and documentation • contributing to creating structure, security, and predictability in the residents' everyday lives • implementing evidence-based methods and the intentions of legislation in daily work. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has Degree from vocational college as a support pedagogue, 200 vocational college credits, or alternatively 60 higher education credits within a relevant area such as behavioral science, pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent Professional experience working with the target group, people with autism, and good knowledge of preventive work for challenging behavior Good knowledge of communication support/AAC Experience with change and development work within LSS is meritorious Driver's license category B is required for the position • are comfortable working in a structured and pedagogical manner • have a positive and professional approach • have good communication skills and are easy to collaborate with • feel confident guiding and inspiring colleagues • have experience with the target group, especially people with autism • have good knowledge of working preventively to reduce challenging behaviors • have good knowledge of communication support/AAC • are driven and engaged in development and quality work.
