Your tasks As a support educator at Grindgatan Group Home, you play an important role in developing the activities' pedagogical approach. You work both in daily support to service users and in supporting the work team in pedagogical work. You contribute to creating structure and clarity in daily life, developing common working methods and ensuring that documentation and implementation plans maintain high quality. An important part of the assignment is also to mentor and support colleagues and contribute to reflection and development within the work team. Together with the operations manager and colleagues, you have the opportunity to help shape the future development of the operation and create working methods that provide the best possible support for service users. Your workplace Grindgatan is a group home within LSS where seven people with intellectual and neuropsychiatric disabilities live together. The residents have lived together for many years and have a wonderful sense of community where activities and social interaction are a natural part of daily life. Here you get to participate in everything from library visits and hairdresser appointments to other activities that contribute to a meaningful existence. The operation is in a development phase where we are building new routines and working methods together. You will be an important part of that work and will have the opportunity to influence the operation's development together with an experienced work team and operations manager. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends and on-call nights. About you We are looking for someone with a 200-credit upper secondary vocational education as a support educator or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience with documentation and record-keeping. It is meritorious if you have experience with pedagogical approaches and knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). As a person, you have good cooperation skills and enjoy working together with others. You are self-directed, take responsibility for your assignment and contribute to driving development forward. You have a pedagogical approach, are clear in your communication and have the ability to create trusting relationships with both service users and colleagues.
