About the Position Kryddhyllan is a service residential facility in Gårdsten with eight apartments. We're now seeking a support pedagogue driven by varied work. The focus of the operation is sociopsychiatry. The facility is staffed 24/7. You'll be part of a work team consisting of nine support assistants and one support pedagogue. Together with your work team, you'll develop interventions and implementation plans tailored to each individual's needs and wishes. For this target group, experience with motivation work and active preventive efforts is required. To succeed in your role, you need to value and be skilled at creating good collaboration with other professionals and with each individual's social network. As a support pedagogue, you have overall responsibility for the pedagogical work within the facility. You'll establish, implement, and evaluate work methods and approaches, ensuring they're used and developed effectively. You'll lead team and operations meetings for the work group to work systematically around each service user. You'll also mentor colleagues on professional ethics dilemmas and pedagogical approaches. Your closest support pedagogue colleague works in the adjacent building, and you'll have close collaboration. You'll also participate in a pedagogue network with other colleagues in the area, led by our method developers. Together with the work team, you'll establish, implement, and follow up on routines, action plans, and support descriptions. You'll ensure that social documentation and implementation plans are created according to IBIC, further developed, and followed according to laws and guidelines. Your working hours will be scheduled day shifts, evenings, and every other weekend in the facility, and in addition to pedagogical work, you'll work directly with service users. Qualifications For the position as support pedagogue, post-secondary specialization in the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 VET credits, 120 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care, or other education the employer considers equivalent. We're looking for you with experience working with the psychiatry target group. You also have knowledge of managing challenging behavior and using low-arousal approach (LAB) as a method. We consider it a merit if you have documented knowledge of motivational interviewing (MI), SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan), A Self-Determined Life (ESL), consent, coercion and restrictions, and experience working with individuals in substance abuse/at-risk use. Communication is a central part of the work, which requires that you master the Swedish language both orally and in writing. This means a passing grade in Swedish 1, Swedish as a second language 1, or equivalent. If you don't meet the qualification requirement, you may be offered to take a language test through EducateIt.
