Job Description As a support pedagogue, you will divide your time between facilities located in Kallebäck and on Danska Vägen. Both are residences with special support and services according to LSS, and serve people with intellectual, neuropsychiatric, and/or mental health variations. The facilities have a combined total of 12 apartments with common areas or contact apartments. The work teams at the residence consist of you, 17 support assistants, and together you are responsible for planning and developing the activities, as well as providing practical, personal, and pedagogical support in daily life. The role also includes medication management. In your role as support pedagogue, you will work with quality monitoring and quality development in the facilities. You are part of a network with other support pedagogues in the field, and you have a methods developer to support your work with quality and methods. Working hours are Monday to Friday. The position is full-time at 40.00 hours. As a support pedagogue with us, you will be part of a team of dedicated support assistants whose shared mission is to contribute to a meaningful life with everyday support, activity support, and maintenance of social contacts. You will support the support assistants with methods, routines, and social documentation, and help maintain structure. You will also guide and reflect on issues of approach and attitudes. You will provide support in developing individually tailored methods to promote participation and independence. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in support pedagogy or a post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational points, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the Swedish language requirements, you may be offered a language test through the test administrator Educateit. You also need basic computer skills for this position. You must have good knowledge of functional variations, and it is a requirement that you have at least two years of experience working as a support pedagogue. It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience with work methods such as MI (motivational interviewing), AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), ISL (independent self-sufficient living), and LAB (low-arousal approach). It is also meritorious if you have a driver's license, experience with care, and assistive devices. As a person, you take responsibility for both your own and shared work tasks with a focus on what is best for the activity. Work tasks are carried out carefully, followed up, and driven forward with engagement and initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others. You collaborate well by listening, showing respect, and contributing to the shared mission. Your work is planned, organized, and prioritized efficiently to ensure timely results. It is important to you to be able to see a holistic perspective and understand how your own work affects and is affected by the broader organization.
