The Role of Support Pedagogue with Us As a support pedagogue, you have a central role in the operation with particular responsibility for development, quality, and user focus. You use your in-depth pedagogical expertise to ensure that support for each individual maintains high quality and is carried out in accordance with applicable implementation plans. You are a pedagogical role model and serve as a mentor for support assistants in direct user work. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you plan and lead operational meetings, contribute to prioritizations, and drive systematic quality work forward. Part of the assignment involves quality-assuring social documentation and following up on implementation plans, as well as contributing a holistic perspective through environmental monitoring and development work. You will also be part of the municipality's support pedagogue network that meets a few times per year – a forum for experience sharing, competence development, and joint quality improvement. You are also a prioritized target group to receive support from the business area's method developer. In the role, you combine development work with direct work with service users, which gives you good insight into daily life and creates the best possible conditions for close, relevant, and sustainable quality work. The unit currently has one support pedagogue, so you will be two sharing the responsibility. Your Profile You are flexible in your work and remain calm in stressful situations. As a person, you are curious about others and driven by development. You are structured and have the ability to organize and plan your work based on the operation's needs. You have a positive outlook and find it easy to work both independently and in groups. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has: - education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent - experience working with similar target groups - experience with documentation and writing as well as following up implementation plans It is meritorious if you have: - knowledge in care and support coordination - knowledge of MI – motivational interviewing Learn More About Us We have eight apartments. The house is of terrace type character and is located rurally seven kilometers outside Kungsbacka, near Anneberg commuter station. Our operation is aimed at adults with psychiatric disabilities who need support services according to the Act on Special Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) or the Social Services Act (SoL). The unit belongs to the Department of Individual and Family Care. The work is performed in the tenant's home where tobacco smoke may occur. Substance abuse also occurs. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty. The length of work shifts varies. Within the Department of Individual & Family Care, all employees in Residential Care with Special Services and Support at Home are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce their hours to a desired employment level based on operational needs.
