JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who are a support educator and thrive in a varied and developmental assignment.
As a support educator, you have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field. You may be assigned profession-specific tasks related to quality assurance, for example to:
• support colleagues in social documentation and implementation plans
• work based on the Social Board's recommended work methods
• contribute to internal controls
• mentor colleagues
The assignment includes motivating and supporting users in their daily life based on individual needs. You work to create a meaningful, developmental and high-quality operation for each individual. Through customized support, you contribute to security and strengthen the individual's opportunities for development.
The work involves both independent work and team collaboration, as well as cooperation with other professions. The position also includes working at other workplaces through collaboration shifts or joint planning when needed.
The group home Adonisvägen is located in the scenic Gullberna with good communication options. Here seven users with various disabilities live. The work is characterized to a high degree by clarifying pedagogy and low-affective approach.
We are looking for you who wants to contribute to the users' development together with an engaged and motivated team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in the form of:
• Education at YH level at least 200 vocational higher education credits within an adequate activity area (e.g. support educator education or YH psychiatry education)
• Higher education at least 60 credits within an adequate activity area
• Driver's license for car
• Basic knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Documentation is an important part of our work and you therefore need to master the Swedish language well in speech and writing.
Additional merits include:
• Education in and/or experience of TAKK, signs as a communication tool.
• Education in and/or experience of low-affective approach and clarifying pedagogy
• Experience working with NPF diagnoses, autism, psychiatry and intellectual disabilities
• Education in and/or experience of MI or other conversation methods
• Education in and/or experience of conversation mat
• Education in and/or experience of Drawing Talk, social stories and comic conversations
• Education in and/or experience of service design
