Support Pedagogue for a full-time position at Åby group home in Västerhaninge. About the role As a support pedagogue, you will work together with your colleagues in direct work with the residents. Additionally, you will implement and apply Nytida's pedagogical framework and contribute to the development of personalized pedagogy for the residents. This is to support residents in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and enable a health-promoting life by serving as a role model and motivating them toward wellness. Together with other staff members, you work with the goal of making each day meaningful and enriching, performing care-related work, ensuring pleasant facilities, and participating in activities with the residents. You will also mentor and support staff members in social documentation and implementation plans, guide newly hired employees, and collaborate with the unit/activity manager on development projects. You report to the group manager and activity manager. Becoming a manager could also be a future career opportunity for you. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evening, and weekends. About the unit Åby 1 and 3 are two group homes where individuals with autism, autism-like conditions, or developmental disabilities live. The homes are located in a peaceful, nature-rich area with easy access to public transportation. Your experience and knowledge You are trained as a support pedagogue from vocational college or hold relevant higher education. You have good computer skills, experience with documentation, and strong Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group. As a person, you have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people. You are responsible, thorough, and enjoy working in a team. You willingly share your experience and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and client interaction.
