A Day at Work You have an important role as a support pedagogue at Housing Support VFF. We are now looking for you to be part of our operations with a focus on the work team in Järna and the team working with our elderly service users in housing support. You will be involved in developing our operations based on a genuine user focus. We expect you to want to contribute to the development of our services, and we can offer you the opportunity to be part of shaping the work tasks of the position based on what our operations need. At Housing Support, we provide support in daily life based on time-limited assistance decisions. The housing support intervention according to SoL is carried out as a targeted measure and is designed together with the user in an implementation plan. The implementation plan then forms the basis for the work together with the user. As a support pedagogue at Housing Support, you will develop, plan, and evaluate pedagogical work while being involved in day-to-day work providing users with support in their daily living. You are expected to drive method development and support your colleagues in working with methods based on individual needs and interests so that the team together develops approaches to provide users with participation, influence, and greater self-determination over their lives. As a support pedagogue, you will assist in developing implementation plans and work toward set goals together with other colleagues. You are expected to lead meetings where support measures are discussed and developed, you drive development work in your team and also for all of Housing Support VFF where you regularly participate actively in the unit's quality meetings. Working hours are scheduled and take place during day and evening shifts and may also occur on weekends. You will be involved in planning the schedule for the operation and can influence your scheduled working hours. Who Are You? You can meet elderly people in a calm, respectful, and secure manner and have an understanding of the challenges and needs that may exist in elderly care. Requirements: - Education as a support pedagogue 200 vocational college credits, or education/experience that the employer finds equivalent. - You have extensive experience with pedagogical methods focused on functional disabilities. - You have extensive experience with neuropsychiatric disabilities, dementia diseases, and mental health issues. - You have extensive knowledge of various functional disabilities and how these can affect individuals. - You have basic computer skills and extensive experience with social documentation based on IBIC. - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. - You hold a category B driver's license. Meritorious: - MI training - Well familiar with social authorities' regulations and structure - It is meritorious if you have experience working with individuals with autism, low-affective interaction, and individuals with problematic behavior, as well as experience with alternative communication - Experience with psychiatric diagnoses and their impact on individuals Personal Qualities: - Attentive - Creative - Quick-thinking - Independent - Responsible - Courageous - Humble - Able to work at a high pace with varying tasks - Low-affective interaction approach You accept the challenge of working with continuous improvements in a lean-inspired municipality and can express yourself well in Swedish both spoken and written. You need to be able to combine your pedagogical work with administrative tasks and have strong ability to take own initiatives, drive method and quality work at the unit.
